Mark A. Jensenius
M.S. student in Mechanical Engineering
Duke University
Mark Jensenius comes to Duke University from the Aeronautical Engineering program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. While at Rensselaer, Mark successfully completed the undergraduate program in 3 years with a 4.0 grade point average. He was awarded the Ricket's Prize for excellence in Aeronautical Engineering and the Ballesian Prize for being the institute's top student-athlete. While at Duke University, Mark is pursuing a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on incorporating known dynamics information into machine learning techniques. He is currently interested in the applications of neural networks and possible new training conditions/algorithms for these networks to enhance performance. He is also interested in applying intelligent control to the next generation of unmanned aircraft. Mark hopes to complete his degree early 2005.
